(1) The handling charge will be taken as a deposit at the time the equipment is left for repair. The handling charge will be waived should the estimate be accepted and the repair completed. The handling charge is also payable if the equipment is un-economical to repair, no fault is found or due to incorrect settings by the user. Back to Top.

(2) Labour charges are the minimum we will charge for the items listed but is often the typical amount charged for average faults but the cost could be more depending on the severity and work required. This would be advised in an estimate. We do not charge Labour on a time basis. Costs of spare parts are extra. Back to Top.

(3) The No Estimate charge is the threshold amount (including all costs e.g. spares) before we will advise you of an estimate. That is, if the value of the repair falls on or below this amount then we will complete the repair without giving you an estimate. If you wish to be advised of an estimate regardless, then please let us know in advance. Back to Top.

(4) Field Service Charge. This will be charged in addition to any other charges should we be requested to do a field repair or collection/delivery. The charges are for our local area only (4 mile radius of store). Please contact us for confirmation if you are outside our local area. Any parking charges will be made in addition. NA means Not Available. We request that customers, where possible, bring in the item for repair to our store. For manufacturer in-warranty items we reserve the right to charge for call-out. In some rare instances, the nature of the fault is such that an initial estimate of repair has to be revised once work is progressing as new information is found or other faults not seen earlier are discovered. In these cases we will advise of any further charges that may be necessary.
